In brief:
- What you give it: a script of up to 4,000 characters, or a brief and Relo writes the script.
- What you get: a realistic presenter speaking to camera, with titles, screenshots and callouts animated around them.
- Presenters: ten, each with their own voice. No camera, studio or microphone.
- Cost: 80 credits for a finished video in one size (35 video + 35 avatar + 10 render). The avatar mode is in beta.
What is an AI avatar video generator?
An AI avatar video generator turns text into a video of a digital presenter speaking it. The presenter's face, lip movements and voice are generated, so you get a person explaining your product without filming anyone. In Relo the presenter is part of a designed video: motion graphics appear around them as they talk, the way a produced explainer cuts between a host and the product.
When should you use an AI avatar?
| Use an AI avatar when… | Use motion graphics when… |
|---|---|
| A face builds trust: a founder note, a sales message | The product can be shown rather than explained |
| The idea needs explaining in sentences | You want a fast, music-led social ad |
| You want onboarding to feel personal | The video must work with the sound off |
| You'd otherwise have to film yourself | You don't want a person in the video |
How do you make an avatar video with Relo?
- Choose AI avatar in the mode menu next to the chat box.
- Pick a presenter. Choose the one who suits your audience; a developer tool and a wellness app usually want different people.
- Paste your script, or leave it empty and describe the topic so Relo writes it from your brief and product profile.
- Attach up to two images if you like, such as a product screenshot or your logo, for the graphics.
- Watch the draft, ask for changes to the graphics, captions or timing, then render in 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9.
How do you write a script an avatar delivers well?
- Write for the ear: short sentences, one idea each.
- Open with the viewer's problem, not your company name.
- Explain one thing. "How to connect your bank in two minutes" beats a full tour.
- Say numbers as you'd speak them: "two minutes", not "2 min".
- Aim for 60–150 words, roughly 30–60 seconds of speech.

Is it honest to use an AI presenter?
Yes, as long as you don't present the avatar as a real employee or a real person. Many teams say "presented by an AI host" in the video or description. Keep the claims in the script as accurate as you would in writing.
Frequently asked questions
How many AI presenters are there?
Ten, each with their own voice. Pick the one that suits your audience.
Can the avatar say my exact script?
Yes. Paste a script of up to 4,000 characters and the presenter speaks it word for word, or leave it empty and Relo writes one from your brief.
How much does an AI avatar video cost?
35 credits for the video plus 35 for the avatar, and 10 per render: 80 credits for one finished video in one size.
Can I use my own voice with the avatar?
No. Each presenter speaks in their own synchronised voice, so voiceover and voice cloning are off in avatar mode. Use voice cloning with a motion-graphics video instead.
What sizes can avatar videos be?
Vertical (9:16), square (1:1) or horizontal (16:9). The presenter and graphics are composed for the size you choose.
